I think there are three male koalas on the western side of the block. It is hard to be sure, as they can move pretty quickly despite appearances. This one has the territory closest to the house, just on the other side of the rabbit fence, and he can occasionally be viewed in this manna gum. I do wonder if the current psyllid infestation (as ably demonstrated by this moulting Crimson Rosella) and dramatic reduction in available feed will have any impact on the koala population. Psyllids tend to be species specific and it's the trees that I believe to be pink gums that are affected. I estimate that these make up around 50% of the total eucalypt population here. Back down to earth and this shingleback lizard had just finished drinking when I saw it (not flat-out, propped up on its front legs in fact hehe). Couldn't get a photo of the blue tongue - that tends to emerge when the lizard is on the move.
