Thank you, Alan, for taking the time to write - am glad you enjoyed visiting and your comments are most heartening. Hope to 'see' you again sometime.
Enjoyed the latest updates. Love the 'At the Birdbath' section - you have some stunning photos there. The one of the three New Holland HEs is fantastic - also the bronzewing - and all of them in fact. Great work. Alan T
So pleased you've visited blog again, Alan. The New Holland's are a good subject to photograph - very confident and usually involved in some noisy group dynamic. I think the bronzewing's plumage rather splendid - the sound of them calling - a deep and penetrating 'oom' - is one of the constants here. Thank you for your kind comments - much appreciated.
Enjoyed the updates and new photos - i didn't realise how attractive the underside of the LWBs tail was with the layers of white tipped feathers. Very interesting about the Golden Wattle gum - well spotted. Thanks again for sharing all this online. Alan T
Alan I am most grateful for your comments and attention to the new blog entries. I am constantly learning thanks to this process and it is such a joy.
