Well, the first time caught on camera anyway. This is a striated pardalote, quite common, but more often heard than seen as they feed high up in the top of eucalypts. These diminutive birds, around 10cm long and weighing just 11g, are insect eaters and form pairs or small groups during breeding season, with both sexes incubating and then caring for the young.
