LW was kind enough to wait in the Buddleja while I went inside to get camera. Then moved for another pose - and a bit of tongue-poking. No way of knowing, but I do feel this is one of the babies.

Exquisite precision in these shots. Like his photographer LW seems very conscious of how his feathery alignment rhymes with the woodgrain. How exquisite parent and juvenile are: well, below that looks like the baby for sure. Thank you again for this joyful glimpse into birdlife.
