Three days of winter sunshine was an enjoyable break from the rain and the bees took full advantage of it. Wattle pollen was on the menu for many - although they're spoiled for choice with nearly everything in bloom. When a rotten branch I was moving split apart I thought I'd discovered termites - When I zoomed in on computer later, photos revealed they were tiny ants. The easiest way to tell which is which? ants have a waist but termites don't. A more comprehensive explanation can be found here. The dry weather also gave me an opportunity to try the wildlife camera during the day. Am not entirely satisfied with the quality, but it's a bit of fun - and one never knows who will turn up. Here are some of pics.
