A pair of Superb Fairy-wrens have nested in this acacia bush next to the house and two nestlings are in there, constantly begging for food with a trilling call. Both parents are very busy catching insects to feed the babies. Here's mum with a beak-full - and dad (well he might be the dad - they are quite promiscuous remember!) erm - and mum again - dad... Well, I'm sure he'll get busy soon. Meanwhile mum - and - At the end of the day the family all settle down together in the acacia and have 'whispered' 'conversations'. I can see some of the nest, but won't be poking the camera lens in there and risk causing distress. Be good to see the fledglings emerge, though and in the meantime there's always dad's singing to enjoy...
